From a reliable source, Mozilla has been working with LG to release a mobile device that will surprise the visitors MWC 2012 in Barcelona. Moreover Mozilla CTO and JavaScript creator Brendan Eich has said it will go to work together in an announcement at the show later.
LG mobile phones Mozilla is expected to be supported by a Mozilla Operating System called Boot to Gecko, which would strengthen the position of Firefox in the browser wars. This device would actually be directed to the developer, rather than ordinary consumers.
No further details about the specifications or prices will be present, but it seems like they would start selling as soon as next week. This is the most optimistic estimate, though - in fact we probably can not see the device appear earlier than mid-2012.
